Is MemoryTree really private?
Yes. Your tree is invite-only. No public sign-ups, no ads, no data mining, ever. Your memories belong to your family.
What happens if two relatives start separate trees?
When branches overlap (say, cousins), the owner of each tree gets a 'merge link request' they can approve or deny. Neither owner loses control of their tree.
Can I pass the tree down?
Yes. The owner can designate a successor at any time. They can also export the entire tree — photos, stories, structure — as a downloadable archive.
What are time capsules?
Messages, photos, or videos you record now and set to unlock on a future date — a graduation, a wedding, a milestone birthday.
